For Bfleet customers, Bridgestone's system captures and stores all information
automatically every time we provide product or services to any of your
vehicles, right down to pressure checks and tyre rotations. Every activity,
every time regardless of location.
Bfleet information is stored in our central data base by vehicle using
your fleet ID numbers and with detail down to axle position, so that
we can track and report on tyre performance, service delivery and operating
costs by your fleet ID.
Bfleet data allows us to provide you with summarised fleet costings,
service activity reports and KPI's in a range of different formats depending
on your specific needs.

Bfleet On-Line - a first for Bridgestone - and THE solution for Bridgestone
customers serious about managing their own fleets
Bridgestone
are the first and only company in Australia able to offer transport operators
direct access to their own fleet tyre data live and on-line.
Up until now the only way to access your Bfleet data was via your local
Bridgestone representative or store and in printed form.
Under these traditional methods, any fleet or tyre problems are only identified
after the event. You've already spent your money without fixing the cause
of the problem, and your only chance is to try and catch the vehicle at
the next opportunity.
Using Bfleet to access your own data live and on-line, you can now give
your people the power to check tyre and service history as part of your
authorisation or ordering process. It gives you the power to make the
best decision at the time of tyre replacement or service. Armed with the
facts, you can direct the tyre service person to act in your best interests,
take direct action and save you money.
The key benefits of the Bfleet system is that it provides :
- A record of all
tyre related service and tyre replacements by your fleet ID
- Direct access
to your fleet's data
- Summarised cost
per kilometre running rates by vehicle
- as a total for the vehicle or down to axle level
- Tyre performance
history on all tyres replaced
- Tyre usage by
fleet ID
- Helps to identify
areas of tyre theft
- Identify areas
of over-servicing to help reduce operating costs
- Identify areas
of under-servicing that contribute to increased costs
Remember - all data
is stored by your fleet ID and down to axle level.
Bfleet allows you to take full control of the tyre supply process and
pro-actively manage tyre usage and tyre costs by vehicle.
An example of Bfleet in Action
Without Bfleet
Your truck needs
new steer tyres, and as sometimes happens you notice that one tyre has
worn out slightly faster than the other. Under your current system you
replace your tyres without any reference to the performance of the tyres
being removed, or past service history for that vehicle.
You think that the tyres have performed poorly, but aren't sure, and that
you might also have a wheel alignment problem. So you arrange and pay
for a wheel alignment however once the truck returns you find out that
there was no major problem here.
So you've spent money on tyres plus an alignment, and time on getting
the truck to and from the alignment shop.
With Bfleet
With Bfleet
in place, when your workshop guys asks you to approve the purchase of
2 tyres, you check on-line the history for the vehicle's steer tyres.
The live data shows you the date and KM reading of when the current set
of tyres were originally fitted, and so you immediately know that they
have achieved 123,000 kilometres - which is more than you were expecting
and above the 100,000 km ave for all other vehicles in your fleet.
The Bfleet information also shows you :
- that you wheel
aligned the vehicle at the last set of steer tyres
- that 2 new rims
were fitted last time
- that the tyres
were rotated at 45,000 kms
- that the pressures
were checked at least once every month
Armed with this information, you decide that the vehicle doesn't need
money spent on an alignment at this time, or any other actions, and so
you approve the purchase of the replacement tyres.
You have saved time and money, and confirmed that the Bridgestone tyres
in use are exceeding your expectations
Bridgestone's
mission - our job is to manage your tyres and assist to reduce your fleet
tyre operating costs
